The University of Kansas (KU) is a comprehensive educational and research institution offering a wide range of high quality academic programs.
The National Science Foundation and the Carnegie Foundation both have classified KU as a top research university, and it has been a member of the elite Association of American Universities since 1909.
Founded in 1891, KU Endowment is the oldest foundation of its type at a U.S. public university and one of the largest.
