Australian universities are ranked highly in the latest QS World University Rankings 2018, with Australian National University rated 1st in Australia and 20th in the world, followed by the University of Melbourne (2nd in Australia and 41st in the world).

The University of Queensland has moved higher in the 2018 QS World University Rankings, coming in at 47th globally, placing it well inside the top one per cent of the world’s top universities.

The University of Newcastle (UON) is now ranked at 224 out of an estimated 26,000 universities across the world. This result highlights UON’s performance as a world-class research-intensive university and positions the university in the top 10 of Australian universities.
