Founded in 1855, The University of San Francisco (USF) is a top private Jesuit university located in San Francisco, California (USA). It is the first university in San Francisco and the second oldest institution for higher learning in California. The university is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It is one of 28 member schools of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
