Doane College is a private, independent, coeducational college. It was one of the first institutions in the nation to offer undergraduate students a four-year graduation guarantee.
Doane College is a founding institution for the Association of Nontraditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE) and PINNACLE, the national honor society for nontraditional students.
The Princeton Review has named it one of the "Best Colleges" in the Midwest; and Kaplan/Newsweek College Catalog called it a "hidden treasure".
