The following are some of the top colleges that have been named to Money Magazine’s list of “Best Colleges for Your Money” for 2016-17:
University of Florida - UF has jumped significantly from last year in Money magazine’s ranking of “Best Colleges for Your Money,” coming in at 6th among public institutions and 15th overall among publics and privates. Last year, UF ranked 8th among public and 30th overall.
Loyola University Maryland - Loyola was ranked in the top quarter of the 705 U.S. colleges and universities on Money’s list, which focused on three primary factors to rank schools: quality of education, affordability, and outcomes. Money found undergraduate Loyola alumni reported an average salary of $51,900 within five years of graduation, ranking in the top 14 percent of all schools listed.
Bethel University - Bethel was ranked 82nd on Money magazine’s “100 Best Colleges for your Money” list. This is the first time Bethel has made the top 100 and the University had the 3rd most improved score over last year of all the colleges on the list.
McDaniel College - It was ranked 100th out of 705 colleges in the nation that “deliver the most value—that is, a great education, at an affordable price, that prepares students for rewarding careers,” according to MONEY. Additionally, McDaniel was listed among “The 50 Most Affordable Private Colleges”, “The 50 Best Liberal Arts Colleges” and “The Best 50 Colleges That You Can Actually Get Into.”
Elmhurst College - On Money magazine's Best Colleges list for 2016, Elmhurst was ranked 6th among all colleges and universities in Illinois, and 120th on a list of more than 700 top institutions nationwide. The College was also ranked among Money’s “50 Best Colleges You Can Actually Get Into,” a list that considers accessibility in relation to high-quality academics.
