The following universities/colleges have been named to Kiplinger's Personal Finance's list of the Top 300 Best College Values of 2016:

Vanderbilt University - It was ranked No. 3 among private universities on the Kiplinger’s Personal Finance list of “Best College Values” for 2016, behind only Princeton (No. 1) and Harvard (No. 2). In addition, Vanderbilt was ranked No. 6 overall on Kiplinger’s combined list of the top 300 private universities, private liberal arts colleges and public universities for best value in the country.

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) - UCLA remained one of the nation’s best values among public colleges and universities, according to the 2016 Best College Values ranking published by Kiplinger Personal Finance. It was placed No. 6 for in-state students and No. 10 for out-of-state students.

Purdue University - It was ranked 19th on the Kiplinger's Personal Finance's list of 100 best values in public colleges for in-state students, and 145th among all colleges. In 2015, Purdue was ranked 27th in public colleges for in-state students.

Hendrix College - Hendrix was ranked 78th on the magazine’s list of 100 best values in private liberal arts colleges and was listed 176th in the top 300 list of public and private colleges and universities.

University of North Carolina at Asheville - it was ranked 6th nationally among public colleges ranked by Kiplinger in total cost of attendance for in-state students and 11th for cost after need-based aid. Kiplinger also lists average debt at graduation, ranking UNC Asheville 21st among public universities nationally.
