The University of Edinburgh is consistently ranked as the UK's number one Nursing Studies degree by The Guardian's and The Times' university league tables. It was ranked No. 1 for nursing & midwifery by Guardian 2015 and ahead of Liverpool (2nd).

The University of Nottingham is consistently in the top 10 for nursing and midwifery in university league tables, including The Guardian University Guide 2015 (ranked 7th) and The Complete University Guide 2015. In addition, the latest Research Assessment Exercise put Nottingham among the top five UK universities for nursing and midwifery research of international importance.

The University of Surrey is one of the UK’s top universities for nursing and paramedical programmes. Its nursing and midwifery programmes were ranked 13th in the UK by both the Guardian and the Complete University Guide league tables.
