The University of Tokyo is the top ranked university in Asia for Engineering & Technology, according to the QS Asian University Rankings 2011, followed by Tsinghua University in China (2nd), National University of Singapore (3rd), Kyoto University (4th), and Tokyo Institute of Technology (5th).

Tsinghua University - It is ranked 11th in the world for Engineering & IT (QS World University Rankings 2010).

National University of Singapore - It is the highest ranked university in Asia (1st regionally and 16th globally) in the Times Higher Education Top 50 Engineering & Technology universities 2010-2011.

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology - Ranked 7th in Asia for Engineering & Technology and No. 1 overall in the region in 2011 QS Asian University Rankings 2011.

Seoul National University - The College of Engineering at SNU has continued to develop over time and now stands as a world-class engineering college. It is ranked 8th in Asia for IT & Engineering in 2011.

Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) -  In January 2011, NTU was ranked the seventh Most-Cited Institution in Engineering by Essential Science Indicators of Thomson Reuters, placing it at the top 1% ranked by total citation count in this field.
