The University of Virginia is ranked No. 1 for the third year in a row among the top 50 "best value" public colleges and universities, according to The Princeton Review, one of America's most widely known education services and test preparation companies.

New College of Florida has been ranked as No. 2 “Best Value Public College in America” and this is the third time that New College has been among the top three public schools offering students exceptional academics at an affordable price. The only other state university on the list is the University of Florida (Gainesville), rated No. 3.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is one of 50 public colleges and universities, and 100 colleges overall, selected as “Best Value Colleges for 2011”. It is the only Wisconsin school, public or private, to make the list.
