Top universities offering Quantity Surveying courses and programs:

Northumbria University (UK)
- It offers the degree of Quantity Surveying BSc (Hons). A mix of assessments is used including examinations, essays, projects, visual and oral presentations, employer assessment panels, computer-based assessment and student peer- and self-assessment.
- The School has a partnership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in which this degree is included. Graduates of this program will have met the RICS academic requirements for membership.
- The Sunday Times University Guide 2011 concludes that Northumbria was its top-ranked university established in 1992 for the first three editions of the guide (from 1998 to 2000).

University of Greenwich (UK)
- It offers the BSc Hons degree in Quantity Surveying (Commercial Management). Students are assessed through exams and coursework.
- This programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and is an appropriate route to technical (TechRICS) membership of the RICS.
- Greenwich took the top spot in the London league table for student satisfaction, for the second year running. In the Sunday Times University Guide 2011 league table, the university is ranked 26th for student satisfaction, out of 122 institutions in the UK, putting it ahead of all other universities in the capital.

University of Portsmouth (UK)
- It offers a three-year full-time course: BSc (Hons) Property Development With Quantity Surveying.
- The University of Portsmouth’s School of Civil Engineering and Surveying has been designated ‘partnership status’ by the RICS.
- Students at the University of Portsmouth have reported very high levels of satisfaction in the National Student Survey. Many of the University’s taught subjects rank in the top 10 per cent in the country in terms of overall satisfaction.
