Founded in 1885, Florida Southern College (FSC) is a leading private comprehensive United Methodist-affiliated college offering a broad range of undergraduate majors and distinctive graduate programs in business administration, education, and nursing.

Florida Southern offers the following undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

The College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelors and masters degrees. It is also accredited by the University Senate of the United Methodist Church. The baccalaureate in nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and the B.S. degree in athletic training is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
