The following liberal arts colleges have consistently been recognized as a “best value”:

Centre College
- Consumers Digest has named Centre College the No. 1 value in the nation among private liberal arts colleges (2007). It is the only Kentucky institution to appear in the Consumers Digest top 25 best liberal arts values list.
- It has been named one of The Princeton Review's 100 "Best Value Colleges for 2009" and is the only Kentucky institution to appear on the list.

Colorado College (CC)
- CC is the 15th best value among private liberal arts colleges across the country, according to the April 2007 issue of Kiplinger’s magazine.
- In fall 2006, U.S. News & World Report's “America's Best Colleges” named CC the 13th best value among national liberal arts colleges for the second year in a row.

Pomona College
- It has been named the “Best Value” among liberal arts colleges for the second year in a row by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine (December 2009 edition).
- It is highly regarded as one of the pre-eminent liberal arts colleges in the country, with a world-class faculty and a student body drawn from across the nation and around the world.

Westminster College
- The Princeton Review consistently ranks Westminster in the top 15% of colleges and universities in North America and as one of America's Best Value Colleges.
- Westminster is included in the 2009 U.S. News and World Report list of "Great Schools, Great Prices".

Ripon College
- It has consistently been recognized as a "best value" and "Best 371 College" by The Princeton Review.
- Ranked 27th in the nation among liberal-arts colleges and the highest-ranked in the state (2009 Washington Monthly College Guide).
- It is listed among the 160 best schools in the nation by Colleges of Distinction.
