Established in 1964, IESEG School of Management is part of the Université Catholique de Lille (Catholic University of Lille) and is highly regarded as one of the top 15 business school in France. It has campuses in Lille and Paris.

IESEG was the first business school in France to have a 5 year post- baccalauréat cursus: a 3 year Bachelor programme covering the fundamentals of management followed by a 2 year MSc programme. Specialisations offered in the Masters programme include: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management of Information Systems, Operations Management, Audit-Control, International Negotiation and General Management. It is also the first school to offer all the courses on the Masters programme in English.

It is a member of the "Conférence des Grandes Écoles", EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) and AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). In 2006 IESEG becomes a member of the LEM, UMR CNRS 8179, and is the first business school to be involved in the “Unité Mixte de Recherche” of the CNRS.

The diploma approved by the French Ministry of Education has also been awarded the “grade de Master”.

The Partner Universities of IESEG includes some of the top ranked universities in the world such as the University of Queensland (Australia), University of Hong Kong, Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), University of Nottingham (UK), University of Glasgow (UK), McGill University (Canada), Cornell University (USA), etc.

- 8th in the L'Etudiant 2010 Business Schools Ranking (7th on both academic and international level, 23rd on the relations with companies).

- 1st "PostBac" Business School in France and 18th in the general ranking (Le Figaro, November 2009).

- In the Figaro newspaper issued in 19th November 2008, it is ranked as the No. 1 “post-Bac” business school.

- Ranked 12th in the L’Etudiant magazine (November 2008).
