Founded in 1955, the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business is one of the best ranked business schools for its MBA programs in the world.

The School offers a two-year full-time MBA program which is consistently ranked among the world’s best. - The Princeton Review ranked Darden professors 1st in the “Best Professors” category in the 2009 edition of its Best 296 Business Schools. It is also listed among the top 10 schools in the following categories: 5th in Campus Facilities, 6th in Campus Environment, 7th in Most Family Friendly, 7th in Best Career Perspectives, 9th in Best Classroom Experience.

- 16th in the BusinessWeek “Best U.S. B-Schools of 2008”. It is one of only six schools to receive letter grades of A+ or A in General Management; Analysis; Teaching; and Careers. In the categorical rankings, corporate recruiters ranked Darden at 12th place. Survey results from recent graduates placed the School 14th.

- Darden Executive Education is ranked as a Top Provider of Open-Enrollment Programs (FT 2008).
