Founded in 1950, Mercy College (or Mercy NY) is a private liberal arts college offering a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs within five schools: Business, Education, Health and Natural Science, Social and Behavioral Science, and Liberal Arts. It has five campus locations including Dobbs Ferry, Bronx, Manhattan, White Plains, and Yorktown Heights. Mercy Online offers more than 25 degree programs entirely online, as well as over 200 online courses every term.
The College is fully accredited by:Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. All online programs are registered by New York State Education Department (NYSED). It is also an NGO (non-governmental organization) associated with the Department of Public Information of the United Nations.
The School of Business offers programs in business and accounting at three levels: Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees. It offers the Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree program in Dobbs Ferry, Manhattan, and via online. The specializations of the M.B.A. program includes finance, marketing, management, international business, direct marketing, organizational leadership, human resources and accounting. To be eligible for admission you must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and/or a GMAT score of 450. The program can be completed in approximately two years (maximum time allowed is 5 years).
The MBA program prepares graduates for careers in finance, marketing, advertising, international business, human resources, and direct marketing. It can be completed entirely online to allow for maximum flexibility.
