The University of Texas-Austin was ranked No. 1 among the top undergraduate accounting programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in its 2017 undergraduate “Best Colleges” lists, followed by the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign in 2nd place and Brigham Young University-Provo in 3rd place.

The University of Scranton’s business programs in entrepreneurship, finance and accounting were all ranked among the top 25 nationally by U.S. News in its 2017 undergraduate “Best Colleges” lists. The University’s accounting program tied for No. 20 with the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was among just three Pennsylvania colleges and one of six Jesuit colleges ranked in the list of the nation’s best 25 undergraduate accounting programs.

Saint Louis University's (SLU) undergraduate business programs (offered through the University's John Cook School of Business) were ranked No. 94 among nearly 500 business schools in the country. SLU’s accounting program was also ranked in the top 25 programs (at 23rd).
