According to the Guardian University league tables 2016, UCL was ranked 1st for Architecture, followed by Cardiff in 2nd place and the University of Kent in 3rd place. Kent has also achieved a top 10 position in the following subject areas: Drama & dance 10th; Economics 9th; English & creative writing 8th; Film production & photography 3rd; History of art 6th; Journalism 6th; Politics 10th; Religious studies & theology 8th; and Social policy 4th.
