The National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) are the top universities in Singapore for engineering:

NUS is highly regarded as Asia's leading university in engineering and IT disciplines. According to the QS World University Rankings® by Subject launched in March 2011, the University was rated 7th globally for Civil and Structural Engineering, 10th for Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, and 12th for Computer Science and Information Systems.

NTU is ranked 26th in the Engineering and Technology category of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2011. It is also ranked 8th in the IT and Engineering category of the 2010 Asian Universities Ranking by QS in its annual survey of universities. NTU's College of Engineering houses the following schools: School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering; School of Computer Engineering; School of Civil and Environmental Engineering; School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering; School of Materials Science and Engineering; School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
