The University of Texas--Austin (McCombs) is ranked 1st in the nation for its graduate accounting program, according to the US News & World Report 2013 Graduate School Rankings. University of Chicago (Booth) is ranked 2nd nationally, followed by University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) in 3rd place and University of Illinois--Urbana-Champaign in 4th place.

The McCombs School of Business is also ranked No. 1 in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in the latest polling by the Public Accounting Report.

Notre Dame's accounting program is ranked 17th nationwide in the 2013 ranking of Best Business Schools by US News. The University's Master of Science in Accountancy program has consistently been ranked in the top 10 in the nation. The 2011 Public Accountancy Report ranked Notre Dame's MS Accountancy program No. 6 nationwide.

Warrington College of Business Administration (University of Florida) is ranked 11th among Public Institutions and 24th among both Public and Private Institutions in the U.S. News Ranking of the Best Accounting Programs (2013).

The J. Mack Robinson College of Business (Georgia State University) graduate accountancy program is ranked 27th in the nation in US News "America's Best Graduate Schools 2013". Robinson offers a one-year Fast-Track Master of Professional Accountancy (Fast-Track MPA) program.
