Loyola University New Orleans is a private institution located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is one of the member institutions that make up the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.

It also offers distance learning nursing degree program, the Health Care Systems Management MSN program is available online to registered nurses.
In 1969, the university completed the largest academic structure in its history, the 180,000-square-foot J. Edgar Monroe Memorial Science Building.
