North Park University Profile

Founded in 1891, North Park University is a four-year university located on the north side of Chicago, Illinois, USA.

The University offers undergraduate majors, concentrations, pre-professional programs, and certificates in a wide range of liberal arts and sciences. The School of Nursing offers a pre-licensure baccalaureate nursing program, an RN-completion program for RNs to obtain a bachelor’s degree, and Master Program. The School offers a BS with a Major in Nursing and a MS with a Major in Nursing which are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The School of Music offers undergraduate degrees such as the Bachelor of Music in Education - Instrumental (BME), Bachelor of Music in Education - Voice or Piano (BME), Bachelor of Music in Performance (BMP), Bachelor of Music in Composition (BMC), Bachelor of Art in Music (BA), Bachelor of Music in Music in Worship (BMMW). The School of Music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.

In the School of Adult Learning (SAL), students have the choice of pursuing the degrees of: Bachelor of General Studies or Bachelor of Arts.

The MBA, Master of Management, Master of Nonprofit Administration, Master of Human Resource Management and BS in Business and Economics offered by the School of Business and Nonprofit Management are accredited by the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education.

North Park University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association. The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education has accredited the University's Athletic Training education program.
