Founded in 1886, Kansas Wesleyan University (KWU) is a private four-year Methodist college located in Salina, Kansas, USA. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

The Department of Art offers majors in Visual Arts, Interactive Digital Media and Art Education and a minor in Art. The Department of Biology offers a broad range of courses designed to provide the student community with a comprehensive exposure to the living world. The Chemistry Department provides a variety of programs to prepare chemistry students for careers in chemistry, biochemistry, forensic science, medicine, pharmacy, chemical industry, and science education.

The Department of Computer Studies offer Bachelor of Science Degrees, Associate of Science Degrees, and Certification programs. The Department of Languages offers courses in Spanish. Kansas Wesleyan University offers undergraduate degrees such as the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), the Bachelor of Science (B.S.), the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.), and the Associate of Arts (A.A.). It also offers a pre-law program for those students who are considering a career in law, and a graduate business degree program: Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). The MBA Program offers two concentrations, one in Business Administration and one in Sports Management. In addition the University offers programs for continued education for returning adult students in a variety of areas, including the Adult Professional Studies (APS) Program.

Kansas Wesleyan University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Other accreditations include: National League for Nursing, National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, Kansas State Department of Education, Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, and Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education. It is a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
