The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) is a public university located in Arkansas, United States.

The University has the following Colleges and Divisions: Division of General Studies; School of Agriculture; School of Business; School of Computer Information Systems; School of Arts and Humanities; School of Education; Division of Music; School of Forest Resources; School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences; School of Nursing; Division of Military Science; School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (a commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools), the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education,  the Society of American Foresters, the National Association of Schools of Music, and the Council on Social Work Education.

The technical programs have been approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education.

- Graduates of the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s four-year bachelor of science in nursing degree program achieved the state’s second highest passing rate in 2009 on the National Council for Nursing Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). UAM’s BSN nursing graduates passed the NCLEX-RN at a rate of 96.55 %. In addition, graduates of UAM’s two-year associate of applied sciences in nursing program achieved a 100 percent passing rate.
