Albany State University (ASU) is a member institution of the University System of Georgia, offering a range of undergraduate and graduate liberal arts and professional degree programs.
Albany State University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award Bachelor’s, Master’s and Education Specialist degrees. The University, through its College of Business, is nationally accredited by and is a member of the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). In addition, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) is included as part of the regional institutional accreditation given to Albany State University by the SACS.
Albany State University is also accredited by the following organizations: National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, the National League for Nursing, the Georgia Board of Nursing, and Council on Social Work Education.
