Massachusetts Maritime Academy

Founded in 1891, Massachusetts Maritime Academy is the second oldest state maritime academy in the country. It is a regionally accredited college offering undergraduate degree programs in maritime-related fields, as well as graduate programs and professional studies.

Mass Maritime has the following Academic Departments: Engineering; Humanities; International Maritime Business; Marine Safety & Environmental Protection; Marine Transportation; Science & Mathematics; Social Science.

Undergraduate Programs (B.S.) are offered in Emergency Management; Facilities Engineering; International Maritime Business; Marine Engineering; Marine Safety & Environmental Protection; Marine Transportation. Graduate Programs (M.S.) offered include the Master of Science in Emergency Management; Master of Science in Facilities Mangement (MSFM) degree. Courses for the MSFM degree include Organizational Behavior; Business Sustainability; Managing Information Technology Resources; Financial Analysis for Facilities Managers; Project/Energy Management; Operations Management; Emergency Preparedness for Facilities Managers; Legal and Regulatory Issues for Facilities Managers; Human Resource Management; Capstone Seminar in Facilities Management.

The Academy is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
