WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management

Founded in 1984, The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is a leading private business school located in Vallendar, a small city near Koblenz. It was the first German university to be accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). All Bachelor and Masters programs at WHU were accredited by FIBAA.

It offers the following programs: Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, MBA, German “Diplom-Kaufmann” program, Bucerius/WHU Master, Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA, Doctoral Program.

The School has formed partnership with the Kellogg School of Management (USA) to offer the joint Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program which is consistently placed as one of the best EMBA programs in Europe.

WHU has established a network of cooperation with many leading universities across all five continents (Europe, North and Central America, South America, Asia / Oceania, Africa / Middle East), such as the CEIBS (China), IIM Bangalore (India), Mc Master University De Groote School of Business (Canada), Carnegie-Mellon University - Tepper School of Business (USA), University of Queensland - Graduate School of Management (Australia), etc.

Rankings:

- Placed among the world's top 400 institutions in the Times Higher Education - QS World University Rankings. It is ranked 252nd globally in 2006 and 327th in 2007.

- The Kellogg-WHU EMBA program is rated 8th in Europe and 18th globally in the Financial Times EMBA Ranking 2009.

- 8th in the Handelsblatt Ranking of Business Administration Graduates 2009: "The Top 25 Faculties for Business Administration”. It is the only private university to be placed in the top 10.

- 5th in the overall ranking and rated No. 1 in the area of business administration among the private universities in Germany (“University Ranking 2009” compiled by WirtschaftsWoche, Handelsblatt and Junge Karriere).

- The Kellogg-WHU EMBA is placed 12th among the Top 25 EMBA programs by Whitefield Consulting Worldwide 2008.
