Accelerated MBA programs allow students to complete their MBA degree in less time (usually in 1 year or less) and for less cost. The Wall Street Journal has ranked accelerated MBA programs based on surveys of alumni and students. Following are the the top 15 schools:

IMD is one of the world’s top ranked business schools. It offers a one-year MBA program with focus on leadership, entrepreneurship and social responsibility. The program is taught in English and it covers the same amount of material as a traditional 2-year program. It is also ranked 1st in the world for its full-time MBA program by the Economist Intelligence Unit in 2008.

It is one of an elite group of business schools worldwide to hold triple accreditations from the EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. The MBA is offered as a one-year full-time programme. Students will be assessed through a mixture of exams, written projects and presentations. The School has 90% of research activity rated as 'internationally recognised' or better in the Research Assessment Exercise 2008.
4 Kellogg School, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois
It offers the One-Year (1Y) Program which is an accelerated MBA program. There are seven courses students must complete to be eligible for the One-Year Program: accounting, economics, finance, marketing, statistics, operations, and organizational behavior. Kellogg is rated 3rd in the U.S. News & World Report's Graduate Business School Rankings 2010.
5 Babson College (Olin)/Babson Park, Massachusetts
The Accelerated one-year full-time MBA is placed among the top 5 globally by WSJ. It also offers a Two-year full-time MBA; Evening MBA; and Fast Track MBA (delivered via distance learning). It offers a standard MBA degree, a fast track Accelerated MBA (designed for those with advanced degrees, strong quantitative skills, and leadership potential), Executive MBA, and Cornell-Queen's EMBA program. The School is placed 7th in the Aspen Institutes ranking of how business schools are integrating issues of social and environmental stewardship into curricula and research 2007.

Placed in the top 20 globally in the FT Masters in Management Rankings 2006. CBS was established in 1917 by the Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education (now known as FUHU). The School also participates both in international and in national accreditations.

It is one of the top universities in Switzerland, regularly placed among the world's top 400 institutions by the THES, and its EMBA program is ranked 60th in the world according to the Financial Times (2008). The MBA programme is taught entirely in English. Students are required to complete nine core courses, nine elective courses, and an MBA project.
