Henry B. Tippie College of Business

The Henry B. Tippie College of Business at The University of Iowa (USA) is one of the oldest business schools in the country, consistently placed among the world's best for its MBA and business programs.

The College offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, and a number of graduate programs including a Master of Accountancy and Ph.D. degrees. The Tippie School of Management offers several MBA programs: Two-year Full-time MBA, MBA Program for Professionals and Managers (MBA-PM), EMBA, and the International MBA Program.

The BBA degree is offered with majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management & Organizations, Management Information Systems, and Marketing. Students may also earn certificates in International Business, Entrepreneurial Management, and Risk Management and Insurance.

The Tippie College and its programs are accredited by the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

Rankings:

- The MBA program is rated 44th, and two other graduate specialty programs ranked among the best: Accounting is placed 11th among public universities and 21st overall; the doctoral program in economics ranked 15th among public universities and 34th overall (U.S. News & World Report America's Best Graduate Schools 2010).

- The Undergraduate Business Program is ranked 19th among public schools and 31st among all public and private universities (U.S. News & World Report "America's Best Colleges" 2010).

- 36th in the U.S. and 63rd globally in the Financial Times MBA Rankings 2009.

- The Full-time MBA is placed 35th in North America and 61st globally by the The Economist magazine in 2009, moving up from 76th globally in 2008.

- Tippie Full-time MBA is placed in the second tier of programs (BusinessWeek ranking of MBA programs).

- The undergraduate program is ranked 68th in the nation by Business Week Magazine in 2007 (It is placed 39th in 2006).

- 61st globally in the EIU MBA rankings 2007.

- 64th in the FT Ranking of Top Executive MBA programs 2006.
