Founded in 1965, Aberdeen Business School (ABS) is part of The Robert Gordon University (RGU) and is one of the largest business schools in the United Kingdom.

ABS is structured into the following five Academic Departments:
- Accounting, Finance and Economics
- Communication, Marketing and Media
- Information Management
- Law
- Management

It offers the Full-time MBA Degree, the Part-time Executive MBA Degree and the Online MBA / Distance MBA Degree with specialist degrees MBA Oil and Gas Management and MBA Transport Strategy and Management. The Aberdeen MBA is highly rated and has full AMBA (The Association of MBAs) accreditation for delivery by either full-time, part-time or online. The School is also recognised by The Project Management Institute (PMI) as a global Registered Education Provider.

The School has a number of Centres of Excellence that are active in research and consultancy work, including the Charles P. Skene Centre for Entrepreneurship, Centre for International Labour Market Studies, Centre for Knowledge Management, Centre for Public Policy and Management, Research Centre for Transport Policy, Scottish Centre of Tourism.
