Darden School of Business Rankings
Founded in 1955, the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business is one of the best ranked business schools for its MBA programs in the world.
The School offers a two-year full-time MBA program which is consistently ranked among the world’s best. Darden academic areas include Accounting, Finance, Global Economies and Markets, Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Management Communication, Marketing, Operations, Quantitative Analysis, and Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Ethics.

- 15th in the U.S. News’ “America’s Best Graduate Schools” (2010 edition). It is also placed in the top 10 for “Management”, receiving a rank of 8th.
- 14th in the US and 27th globally in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2009. In the categorical rankings, the MBA program is ranked 2nd in General Management; 4th in Corporate-Social Responsibility; and 7th Top Salaries in Consulting.
- 9th in Forbes ranking 2009 (Forbes measures the graduates' return on investment).
- 14th in the US News Graduate Business School Rankings 2009. It was placed 12th in 2008, 13th in 2007 and 14th in 2006.
- The Princeton Review ranked Darden professors 1st in the “Best Professors” category in the 2009 edition of its Best 296 Business Schools.
