Aston Business School MBA Rankings

Aston Business School (ABS) is the business school of Aston University (UK), consistently ranked among the world's best business schools in both the Financial Times (FT) and Economist rankings. The School holds triple accreditations:
  • Association of MBAs (AMBA) - for Aston’s MBA: full-time, part-time and distance-learning.
  • EQUIS accreditation, awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
  • Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). 
The Distance-learning MBA has three intakes per year, starting in October, January and April. Students may pursue a Generalist MBA or a Specialist MBA in: e-Business, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Leading People for Competitive Advantage, or Strategic Management. MBA Core Modules include Operations Management, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing Management, Business Finance, etc.

- The Distance Learning MBA was listed in the Top 42 of FT's Online Learning MBA 2009.

- According to The 2008 Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) ‘Which MBA?’ guide, its full-time MBA program was placed among the European top 25. It was also ranked 1st in the World for Student Diversity, 17th in Europe for Opening New Career Opportunities and for the Personal Development and Education of our students.

- Placed in the top 3 Business Schools in the UK and the top 20 in Europe (FT European Business School ranking 2008).

- According to the FT Executive MBA ranking 2007, its part time EMBA program is rated 8th in the UK, 15th in Europe and 50th in the world. It is also placed 5th in the UK for ‘career progress’.

- The part-time/distance learning MBA has been placed in England’s top 10 and Europe’s top 20 programmes in the Financial Times ranking of Executive MBAs.

- Rated a maximum 24 out of 24 in the Teaching Quality Assessment by The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

- All research areas submitted are ranked in the top 12 in the UK, according to the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008.

- The university is ranked 25th nationally in the Times University Ranking 2010.
