UT TeleCampus MBA & Rankings

The UT TeleCampus (UTTC) is the support center for online learning within The University of Texas System. All UT institutions are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). UT Arlington, UT Dallas, UT El Paso, UT Pan American, UT Permian Basin, UT San Antonio, and UT Tyler are also accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.)

UTTC offers the top ranked MBA Online (MBAO) program. Students may pursue the MBA Online program in General Management, or the MBA in General Management with Finance Emphasis. Areas of study in the General Management degree include accounting, finance, administration, business law, economics, marketing, statistics and technology.

Rankings and Ratings:

- The MBAO program was listed as a "Best Buy Award" in the survey of accredited AACSB distance learning MBA by GetEducated.com.

- The U.S. Distance Learning Association (USDLA) presented its 2001 Excellence in Distance Learning Programming - Higher Education Award to the MBA Online, UT TeleCampus Program.

UT institutions are also rated highly in the national and international league tables:

- The University of Texas Austin is ranked No. 10 globally in the Webometrics World Top 100 Universities 2009.

- Uni of Texas–Austin (McCombs) is placed 18th in the 2010 US News Graduate Business School Rankings (a survey of 426 MBA programs nationally).

- McCombs School of Business is rated 49th in the Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Rankings 2009.

- Texas - Austin (McCombs) is placed 21st in the Business Week Ranking of Top 30 Full Time MBA Programs, and in 30th position for Part Time MBA Programs (2008).

- University of Texas-Austin is ranked No. 1 for its Doctoral programs (PhD) in Accounting in the 26th Annual Professor’s Survey. It is also rated No. 1 in the 2010 US News ranking of Best Graduate Accounting Schools.

- Texas-Austin McCombs is placed in the Top 10 for the Business School Specialty - Marketing (US News 2010).

- McCombs is ranked 45th internationally for its MBA programs by the Economist Intelligence Unit 2007.
