Ohio University MBA & Rankings
Founded in 1804, Ohio University (OU or OHIO) is the oldest public university in the state of Ohio and the first in the Northwest Territory. It is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The College of Business at Ohio University received accreditation from AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) - less than 15% of business schools worldwide have achieved and maintained AACSB International's rigorous standards. It offers the graduate degree of MBA which students can earn through one of two programs:
- The Integrated MBA (IMBA): 13-month full-time, residential MBA program.
- The Professional MBA (PMBA): part-time M.B.A. program, allow students to gain the MBA degree while fully employed.
Ratings and Rankings:
- The College of Business was ranked 47th in the US by Business Week in 2009.
- 81st in the NRC Rankings of Top Universities in Neurosciences 2007.
- 5th among the Top 20 Party Schools in the nation (Princeton Review 2009).
- 53rd in the ranking of Top US Public National Universities (US News 2006).
- 40th out of 245 public and private schools in the Washington Monthly's second annual college guide in 2006 (placed 133rd in 2005).
- 4th out of 257 ranked national universities for graduation rate performance (U.S. News & World Report 2008).
