University of Sheffield-World's Top 100 University

Founded in 1879, The University of Sheffield is a red brick university and a top leading research university located in Sheffield, England. It is a member of the Britain’s elite Russell Group and the White Rose University Consortium. The university is associated with 5 Nobel Prize Winners.

In 2001 Sheffield was awarded the Sunday Times University of the Year. About 75% of all teaching subjects (29 subjects) achieved an Excellent rating (Rank position- 3rd in the nation). The university has won Queen´s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education in 2007.
