Founded in 1874, Andrews University is an educational institution of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is one of the most culturally and internationally diverse universities in the United States.
Andrews University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). The Andrews University School of Architecture is an NAAB-accredited program located in southwest Michigan. The School of Education is accredited by the State of Michigan Board of Education, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs.
