University of Louisiana System

The University of Louisiana System is one of the nation's twenty largest public systems of higher education. It has the following member institutions:

Grambling State University - The University offers a range of academic programs including certificate, associate, bachelor, master's and doctoral degrees. It holds the distinction of being the first Louisiana institution to bring a sitting U.S. President to its campus.

Louisiana Tech University - It was recognized by Smalltimes magazine (2006) as the No. 3 university in the U.S. in micro and nanotechnology education. Louisiana Tech's School of Architecture has been recognized by Architect Magazine as one of the nation's best programs for design and building activities.

McNeese State University - The University is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Nicholls State University - It offers a range of accredited programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as non-degree and certification programs.

Northwestern State University of Louisiana - It has been named as a Military Friendly School for 2010 by G.I. Jobs Magazine.

Southeastern Louisiana University - Southeastern's faculty rank among the best in the country, with nationally recognized experts in the fields of economics, e-commerce and history.

University of Louisiana at Lafayette - It was listed in Forbes 2009 Best Colleges and Universities. The University is a member of the Southeastern Universities Research Association.

University of Louisiana at Monroe - The College of Business Administration has received AACSB accreditation for all undergraduate and postgraduate business degree programs.
