List of top universities with most satisfied students:
University of Hull - Students at the University of Hull remain among the most satisfied in the country, according to the National Student Survey (NSS). The University has maintained its score of 87 % 'overall student satisfaction' in the survey in 2010. Its overall score puts it 13th in the country among mainstream universities.
Durham University - Durham students are amongst the most satisfied in UK (NSS 2010). The University has seen rises in student satisfaction in: Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support and Personal Development, and in Learning Resources which includes questions related to the quality and accessibility of Information Technology, library, room and laboratory resources. Durham University departments such as English and History registered particularly high satisfaction ratings of 97 per cent and 98 per cent respectively.
University of Greenwich - It took the top spot in the London league table for student satisfaction, ahead of some of the most prestigious institutions in the capital. With an overall percentage score of 77.2% in the national student satisfaction survey, it was ranked 35th nationally (The Sunday Times).
The University of Buckingham - It has once again topped the table for Student Satisfaction within the National Student Survey conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the Government’s Higher Education Funding Council (2010). Buckingham students gave an overall 95% satisfaction rating, with St Mary's University College 2nd on 94% and the Open University, Oxford University and St Andrews all on 93%.
Newcastle University - "The International Student Barometer (ISB)" which surveys almost seventy thousand students from 84 institutions showed positive results for Newcastle University. In particular international students studying at the University were the most satisfied in the UK. The survey showed that Newcastle University's international students came 1st amongst Russell Group members and were actually the 7th most satisfied in the world.
