California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
- Cal Poly Pomona is ranked 1st in the nation for Most Diverse Student Body in Urban & Regional Planning amongst all private and public schools, according to Planetizen (July 2008).
- It is ranked 7th in the West Region for Best Urban & Regional Planning programs amongst all private and public schools including Ph.D. programs (July 2008).
Clemson University
- The Planetizen Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs (2009) ranked Clemson University’s program among the best in the nation. It is ranked 7th in the nation among programs that do not offer a Ph.D., and 10th in the South among all graduate programs.
