University of Florida Levin College of Law Graduate Tax Program is rated 3rd overall and continues to rank 1st among publics. The Graduate Taxation Program, which offers the LL.M. in Taxation, LL.M. in International Taxation and S.J.D. in Taxation, is widely and consistently regarded as one of the nation’s top programs. UF is also rated as one of the top 10 law schools in the nation for Hispanics, according to Hispanic Business Review.
Georgetown University's Master of Laws in Taxation program is annually ranked among the preeminent programs of its kind. The Tax LL.M. program offers a unique combination of expert adjunct faculty and full-time tax faculty.
The 2011 edition of U.S. News & World Report's "Best Grad Schools" ranked Northwestern at 4th for Tax Law Program. Through the Tax Program at Northwestern Law, students gain a strong foundation in the principal areas of tax law and learn how to deal with complex real-world transactions. The School has one of the lowest student-faculty ratios of any graduate tax program. Applicants to the LLM Program in Taxation must hold a JD degree or the equivalent from a law school approved by the American Bar Association. The program is also open to applicants with a law degree from a university outside the U.S. if that degree qualifies the applicant for the practice of law in his/her home country.
