Following UK universities are regularly placed among the top ten New Universities in the country by a number of national league tables:

Robert Gordon University (RGU)
- Offer a range of degree programmes in Nursing, Business, Law, Engineering, Science, Computing, Art, Design, Architecture, Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
- Rated the Best Modern University in Scotland (Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times 2010).

De Montfort University (DMU)
- The University’s research achieved a higher proportion of top grades than any other post-1992 university in the RAE 2001.

Oxford Brookes University (OBU)
- Rated the Top New University in the nation (Sunday Times 2010).
- The Department of Real Estate and Construction was awarded the excellent mark of 23 out of 24 by the Quality Assurance Agency in 1998.
- The Centre for Development and Emergency Practice (CENDEP) was awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education in 2001.

University of Hertfordshire
- Number One New University in the UK (The Independent 2010).
- Winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade in 2004.
- 3rd out of 120 universities in a league table of environmental performance (People and Planet Green League 2007).

Nottingham Trent University (NTU)
- In 2008 it was named the top post-1992 University by the Good University Guide. The School of Science and Technology received the largest ever donation given to a post-92 university, to fund cancer research.
- Ranked 1st amongst universities in the 2009 Green League for its environmental commitment.
- 74% of its research was considered as 'internationally recognised' with 8% of our research considered 'world-leading' in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.

Bournemouth University (BU)
- Ranked as the UK’s number one new University in The Guardian University Guide for 2009 and 2010.
- It received the ‘Outstanding Library Team’ award at the inaugural Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards in 2009.
