Miami's Farmer School of Business

The Farmer School of Business, at Miami University, is one of the best business schools in the US, with outstanding reputation for its M.B.A. and undergraduate business programs.

The Farmer School is composed of six departments: Accountancy; Finance; Decision Sciences/Management Information Systems; Economics; Management; and Marketing. It awards the following graduate degrees: MBA, Master’s in Accountancy, and Master’s in Economics. Undergraduate programs are offered with majors in Accountancy; Business Economics; Finance; Interdisciplinary Business Management; Management and Organizations; Management Information Systems; Marketing; Supply Chain & Operations Management.

All of the School's programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).

- The 14-month MBA is ranked 9th internationally and 3rd in the US (The Wall Street Journal 2009).

- 18th overall, 6th among public institutions, and 1st among Ohio business schools in the BusinessWeek’s 2009 survey of the nation’s best undergraduate business programs.

- 2nd among Ohio business schools, 28th among public business schools, and 48th overall (US News and World Report Undergraduate Business School Rankings 2008).

- 8th among public institutions and 24th out of 511 accredited programs in BusinessWeek magazine's third annual survey of the nation's best undergraduate business programs (2008). Farmer School was the only Ohio institution in the top 25.

- The undergraduate and master's degree programs in accountancy are ranked 11th and 18th in the nation, respectively, by Public Accounting Report (2007).
