Established in 1966, The State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNYIT) is a campus of the State University of New York, with two residential complexes: Mohawk and Adirondack Halls. It is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA Division III), the North Eastern Athletic Conference, and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

SUNYIT offers the MBA in Technology Management and the MBA in Health Services Management. Both programs are available on campus and online. Other online degree programs include the M.S. in Accountancy, M.S. in Health Services Administration, and B.S. in Health Services Management.

The Master of Business Administration in Health Services Management is designed for those with a degree in nursing, business or other health related professions, and those with a non-Health Services Management degree who plan to enhance their professional aptitude and opportunity for advancement in the field of health administration.

The School of Business is accredited by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). It offers a range of Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs. Concentrations are awarded in accounting, business, finance, human resources management, and marketing/advertising.
