ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the largest and fastest growing accountancy body in the world. The ACCA qualification is one of the most highly respected and internationally recognised professional accountancy qualifications.

Following are some of the leading UK universities offering the highly-regarded ACCA programs:

De Montfort University (DMU):
DMU's Leicester Business School is an ACCA Approved Learning Partner holding Gold Status. Normally it takes three years of  full-time study to complete all ACCA examinations. Teaching commences in mid-September each year.
Rankings:
- Leicester Business School is placed in the top 10 for student satisfaction.
- The only university in England rated as 'Excellent' for Accounting and Finance in the Sunday Times (2004).
- Rated ‘Excellent’ for Accountancy, Business and Management, and Politics (Sunday Times 2008).

The University of Northampton:
Northampton is recognised by ACCA as a Premier Tuition provider.
The classes normally run for 28 weeks, from late September to June. Attendance is offered on an afternoon and evening basis.
Rankings:
- Northampton Business School was placed18th out of 81 institutions for its business subjects, according to the National Student Survey (NSS) 2006.

Glasgow Caledonian University:
Caledonian Business School has been granted Premier status as a tuition provider by ACCA. Students with HNDs, HNCs or recognised degrees in a relevant subject will be given exemptions.

Sheffield Hallam University:
SHU has been awarded quality status every year since June 1999. It was awarded gold status by the association in 2008, and their students have achieved pass rates above the worldwide average.
Rankings:
- 6th in the research power ranking among all post-1992 universities (RAE 2008).
- It is the top English institution in the Times Higher Education Supplement's 'Access Elite' league table (2002).

University of Glamorgan:
The university has been awarded Gold Status as a learning partner by the ACCA, recognising that it has met a range of challenging performance targets, covering the university’s overall management, and its course management and delivery.

- Named the top new university in Wales (Guardian 2009).
- 13th nationally in the Green University League Table (Times Higher Education).

University of Huddersfield:
The Department of Accountancy holds ACCA Premier Tuition Provider status. Students may top-up their qualification to an MA in Accounting and Finance once achieving ACCA Affiliate status.

University of Wales, Newport:
Newport Business School was awarded the ACCA Premier Plus status in recognition of the quality tuition offered to students.

- top in England and Wales for student satisfaction in the subject of Finance and Accounting (NSS 2005).
-top in Wales and joint top in the UK for student satisfaction in Business subjects (NSS 2007).

Birmingham City University:
Birmingham City Business School offers a part-time ACCA programme, a BA (Hons) Accountancy degree (The Honours degree is entitled to the highest level of professional exemptions which ACCA permits), and an MSc Accountancy and Finance degree. The School holds ACCA Premier Plus status.
Ratings:
- Art and Design is placed among the top 10 submissions in the nation (RAE 2008).
- Rated 7th for secondary teacher training and 9th for primary teacher training (CEER 2008).
