What are the Top 10 universities in the world? Which universities & colleges are consistently ranked among the top ten list in the world university rankings? According to a number of international league tables, United States has the most number of institutions ranked in the Global Top 10.

Following are the rankings of top ten universities by the ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities), Times Higher Education Supplement and Newsweek. From here, we can see that six leading institutions are ranked in the top 10 globally across the three major international league tables:
- Harvard (1st in all three rankings)
- Cambridge (3rd in THES, 4th in ARWU and 6th in Newswek)
