Australian Universities in World Top Ranking

According to the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities 2009, ANU is ranked first in Australia (World 48th), followed by Monash in second place (World 111th) and UNSW in third place. A total of 29 Australian institutions made it into the World top 1000 list this year.

Australian Group of Eight (Go8) Universities are all ranked in the Top 8 position. QUT and RMIT successfully made it into the Top 10.
