The University of Nottingham is ranked top for Agriculture and Forestry, followed by Reading in 2nd place and Bangor in 3rd place.

Agriculture courses at The University of Reading are rated 2nd top in Guardian and No. 1 in the country by The Times Good University Guide 2010, topping the ‘Agriculture and Forestry’ table with an outstanding total score of 100. In addition Reading is rated 8th in the world (and the only UK University in the global top 20) in terms of the impact of its agricultural research globally in the Thomson Reuters Essential Science Indicators.

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is placed in the top five in the UK for the career prospects of its agriculture, forestry and food students, according to the Guardian University Guide 2010. It is also rated No. 1 in The People and Planet Green League published by the Times Higher Education supplement (THE).
