Oxford and Cambridge tied for 1st place in the all new Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide ranking for 2015, followed by St Andrews in 3rd place.

The University of Surrey was rated 11th in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015 league table, up from 12th position last year. This follows Surrey climbing to 6th position in the Guardian University Guide 2015, published this summer.

Loughborough University moved up to 13th place out of 121 UK universities in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015. It was also shortlisted for the coveted title of University of the Year 2014-15, which recognises all-round excellence.

Swansea University rose 4 places in this year’s table, from 47th last year to 43rd in this year’s guide. This is a rise of 9 places in two years, and puts Swansea on the verge of the top third of all UK universities.

Oxford Brookes University has improved its league placing in the Times and Sunday Times University Guide for the second year running. It moved up to 49th which is an improvement of one place from last year.
