The U.S. News & World Report survey’s “Baccalaureate Colleges” category includes institutions within four geographic regions (North, South, Midwest and West). Following are some of the best ranking Baccalaureate Colleges in the US:

Cooper Union:
- No. 1 among baccalaureate colleges (Northern region), No. 1 in graduation rates among baccalaureate colleges in the region and No. 3 nationally among all undergraduate engineering colleges, No. 1 nationally among undergraduate engineering colleges in chemical engineering and among the top 4 nationally in all five
engineering sub-disciplines (U.S. News & World Report 2009). It successfully maintained the top position in 2010.
- Placed among the nation’s best colleges, and the nation's best value colleges (The Princeton Review).
- It is a member of ABET and the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD), a consortium of thirty-six leading art schools in the US.

United States Coast Guard Academy:
- Rated 2nd in the category of Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the North (for the third consecutive year) and 15th Best Undergraduate Engineering Program in the nation in the 2010 edition of US News America’s Best Colleges.
- It is the smallest of the 5 U.S. federal military academies.
- It has five academic departments: Engineering, Humanities, Management, Mathematics, and Science.

Ouachita Baptist University:
- Named the No. 1 Baccalaureate College in the South for the third consecutive year, and rated No. 1 for “Great Schools, Great Prices” for the second year in a row (USNWR 2010). The “Great Schools, Great Prices” rankings indicate that “the higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the deal”.
- The university is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), National Association for Schools of Music.
- It is affiliated with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention.

John Brown University:
- Recognized as a top ranking private Christian liberal arts college located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas (USA).
- Ranked No. 2 and placed at Tier 1 among Baccalaureate Colleges in the Southern Region, according to the U.S. News & World Report “America’s Best Colleges” 2010.
- The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, NCATE, Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), American Council for Construction Education (ACCE), International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).

Taylor University:
- Rated number one Baccalaureate College in the Midwest for the third straight year. It is also ranked first for peer assessment, average freshman retention rate and average graduation rate (USNWR 2010).
- It is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
- Listed in the seventh edition of Barron's Best Buys in College Education.
- Designated as one of the top 161 colleges in the Midwest by The Princeton Review.

Ohio Northern University:
- 2nd top among Midwest baccalaureate colleges in “America's Best Colleges 2010”. It is placed in the top 10 in ‘Great Schools, Great Prices’ category, and rated third highest in the Midwest “Graduation Rates” category.
- It has five colleges: Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Pharmacy and Law.
- Featured in The Princeton Review’s ‘The Best 371 Colleges: 2010 Edition”.

United States Air Force Academy:
- Named the best baccalaureate college in the west for the third year in a row, and ranked #2 in the nation in aeronautical and astronautical engineering for the ninth consecutive year (USNWR 2010).
- Ranked the #2 public college in the US (Forbes Magazine).
- The Academy is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Oklahoma Baptist University:
- Listed as Oklahoma's highest-rated baccalaureate college in U.S.News & World Report's annual ranking of "America's Best Colleges" 2010.Overall OBU is ranked second in the West.
- Named a 2009 "Best in the West" institution by The Princeton Review.
