The Princeton Review recognized Green Mountain College’s exceptional commitment to sustainability ranking GMC the 3rd greenest school in the nation. This distinction is included in the 2017 edition of The Best 381 Colleges, only about 15% of America’s four-year colleges are profiled in the book.
Sierra magazine:
Green Mountain College was ranked among the nation’s top “Cool Schools” by Sierra magazine (2016), the national magazine of the Sierra Club. GMC was placed at No. 10 among 201 schools surveyed. It is the only college that has been ranked in the top 15 every year for the past seven years, and this is the fifth time the College has landed in the top 10.
