The University of Surrey was ranked No. 1 in the UK for Electronic & Electrical Engineering, according to the Guardian University Guide 2015, which is based on statistics such as teaching standards, academic progress and employability rates, and the University as a whole has leapt to 6th place.

The University of Southampton is also ranked highly for the subject. It was rated 2nd in Electronics and electrical engineering by The Guardian University Guide 2015, and 3rd in Electronics and electrical engineering by The Complete University Guide 2015.

Manchester Metropolitan University has jumped 40 places in the Guardian University Guide 2015 league table and is now ranked 13th in the UK for Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The School of Engineering was featured in the broadsheet’s ‘Departments with reputations on the rise’.

Loughborough University was ranked 20th for Electronic and Electrical Engineering and 15th overall by the Guardian 2015 (down from 16th in 2014). It was also rated 24th nationally for Electronic and Electrical Engineering by the Complete University Guide 2015.
